Itinerary of the 4 Days Tour in Morocco

Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Valley of the Roses – Dades Valley

Our Morocco itinerary 4 days starts today with Tours-Marruecs.com. We will meet at 8:00 a.m. with your driver at your riad or hotel and depart from Marrakech to Dades Valley, passing through the Tizi N’Tichka pass (2260m) in the High Atlas Mountains. As we journey from Marrakech to Ouarzazate, enjoy the scenic road with beautiful landscapes in various colors and charming Berber villages along the way.

You’ll have free time to visit the old Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a walk to explore the traditional Moroccan architectural style of the Kasbahs, followed by lunch. Afterward, continue southeast to the green Dades Valley and the city of roses via the fascinating Skoura. Dinner and overnight stay in Dades Valley.

Day 2: Dades Gorges – Merzouga

After breakfast, we will travel from Dades Gorges to the Erg Chebbi Sahara Desert in Merzouga. Berber villages are scattered along the route, and we’ll pass through Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud, feeling the transition into the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet. After a brief relaxation in Merzouga, we will ride the camels waiting to take us on an adventure through the sand dunes.

We will spend the night in a camp (Nomad Berber tents) with traditional drumming music in the middle of the Sahara. This is a fantastic opportunity to capture lovely pictures of the sunset and sunrise. Upon arrival at the camp, we will head to a high dune to witness the breathtaking sunset, followed by a night in nomadic tents.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate

Early in the morning, you will wake up to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi, followed by breakfast in the camp. After a quick shower, we will take a camel trek back to the hotel at the dune line. We’ll then drive to Rissani, a small Saharan town in southeastern Morocco, where we can stop to visit a fossil workshop before continuing to Agdz and the Draa Valley junction.

From there, we will head north to Ouarzazate after crossing the small volcanic Atlas Mountains. Dinner and overnight stay in Ouarzazate.

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Berber Villages and Atlas Mountains – Back to Marrakech

After breakfast, enjoy a visit to the film sets and studios located in Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Africa. Next, we will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, recognized in 1987. Ait Ben Haddou has served as a backdrop for over 20 films, including “Gladiator,” “Indiana Jones,” and “Lawrence of Arabia.”

Take a leisurely walk to explore the traditional Moroccan architectural style of the Kasbahs. We will continue our journey to Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi N’Tichka pass. A break for lunch will be taken in the middle of the Atlas Mountains before we drop you off at your Marrakech riad or hotel, marking the end of our 4 Days Tour in Morocco.
