Marrakech Sahara Tours 5 Days
Day 1 : Marrakech - Ait ben haddou - Ouarzazate - Dades :
Our Marrakech Sahara Tours 5 days start today. Our guide from Tours Marruecos it will come to your Hotel or the airport in Marrakesh, we will set off for the Dades Gorges. Passing through Tizi-n-Tishka in the high Atlas Mountains we will then visit the UNESCO World heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou which has also been the backdrop for many films including Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator and Alexander. After lunch we’ll enjoy the beautiful natural landscapes and historical monuments of Taourirt Kasbah in Ourzazate, Skoura and the Valley of the Roses, famous for its annual Festival of Roses. We’ll also pass through the Berber villages of El Kelaa des M’Gouna and Boumalene du Dades where we will spend the night.
Day 2 : Dadès Gorges - Toudra Gorges - Merzouga :
After breakfast at the hotel , Our guide driver by Tours Marruecos it will pick you up and go from Dades Valley to the Sahara desert of Merzouga. Berber villages are scattered along the way. We’ll pass through Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet. And then continue to Merzouga. Later we will enjoy bathing in the warm waters as well as having a local dinner and listen to Berber music. Night in a Riad.
Day 3 : Merzouga area, culture and tradition :
In the morning, we start our tour around the dunes of Erg Chebbi. We will visit a berber house and listen to some Gnawa music; originally from Ghana, and Sudan. We will visit some deserted mines, Berber nomads and oasis of palm trees. For lunch we will head back to Merzouga. After relaxing for a time we will go for the camels that are waiting to take us on an adventure in the sand dunes. We will spend the night in an equipped camp with drums music in the middle of the Sahara, which is a great opportunity to take lovely pictures of the sunset and sunrise. When we arrive to the camp, we climb the high dunes to see the sunset and spend the night in nomad tents.
DAY 4 : MERZOUGA – MARRAKECH :
There is a long drive of around 9 hours ahead of us as we drive back to Marrakech. The day begins with breakfast and along the way there will be a stop at the city of Ouarzazate for lunch. We arrive back in Marrakech around 19h00. night in Hotel
Day 5 : MARRAKECH - DEPARTURE :
Breakfast. Free morning to explore the city or acquire a souvenir from Morocco. Food and transfer to the airport. End our Marrakech Sahara Tours 5 days
