Ouzoud Waterfalls Day Trip
After meeting at 8 am on the day of the excursion, we’ll leave Marrakech behind and hit the road in the direction of Ouzoud, in the province of Azilal. During the three hour trip we will pass through various villages and take in both local life and landscapes. Having arrived at the Ouzoud Waterfalls, you will have free time to discover the region, enjoying the local flora and fauna (it is not unusual to encounter small monkeys) and eat in the waterfront restaurants with views of the spectacular waterfalls. Why not cool off with a refreshing dip in the river too? You’ll be enchanted by the beautiful landscapes surrounding you! At the end of the tour, we’ll return to Marrakech, arriving back around 6 pm.
Ourika Valley Day trip
Depart from Marrakech in a small-group tour to the Atlas Mountains in the company of an experienced, English-speaking guide, heading to the Ourika Valley, which is about a 1-hour drive from Marrakech and famous for its waterfalls. Visit the waterfalls after a 1.5-hour walk with a mountain guide and spectacular views of different landscapes as far as the eye can see. Visit Berber women extracting Argan oil, which is unique to Morocco.
Day trip to Essauira
Leave Marrakech at 08:00, ready for a 3-hour journey to the beautiful Essaouira on the Atlantic Coast. Once you arrive at the port city, formerly known as Mogador, you will have time to enjoy the charming sights of Essaouira, including its ocher-colored walls, the beautiful Moulay El Hassan square, and the souks, as well as the little streets of the city’s old Medina. Enjoy a lunch of fresh fish in a local restaurant. During your trip, visit an association of Berber women producing argan oil, see the local markets, and marvel at the gems in the jeweler’s quarter. You will return to Marrakech at the end of the afternoon, arriving back to the “Red City” at around 19:00.
Agafay desert trip
We are going to pick you up from your hotel or riad and start a 45 minutes southwest of Marrakech across olive and orange farms to Agafay desert. Upon arrival, meet your camel caravan, and get dressed like a nomad in a blue robe and a head scarf. After taking some photos with the new outfit, and getting introduced to your camel, start an hour camel ride across the amazing landscapes of the arid terrain which might contain green vegetation during a rainy spring season, but the views of the snow capped Atlas Mountains in the horizon is splendid. Just in time for sunset, make your way to a high plateau where you will enjoy a cup of mint tea while watching the colour changing sun sets in the horizon.
Just before it gets dark, join your driver back to Marrakech for a drop off at your hotel/riad, or a location of your choice in the city centre.
Ait ben haddou Trip
Departure to Ouarzazate and Ait Benhaddou day trip, via Tizi N’Tichka saddle.
