Day 1 : Casablanca

Your Morocco itinerary 15 days begins when you arrive at Casablanca Airport. Our driver guide by Tours Marruecos it will pick you up and transferred to your Casablanca hotel. Afternoon city tour of Casablanca highlights this famous city’s principal sights. Overnight in Casablanca.

Day 2: CASABLANCA – El Jadida - Marrakech

This morning Tours Marruecos takes you south along the Atlantic coast to the historic coastal town of El Jadida with it’s Moroccan and 16th century Portuguese heritage. Turning inland your Morocco travel adventure takes you to the fascinating old imperial city of Marrakech dramatically situated near the base of the soaring High Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Experience true Moroccan atmosphere staying at one of the beautiful Marrakech riads. Overnight in Marrakech riad. (Breakfast)

Day 3: MARRAKECH

Free day in Marrakech to see all places not seen before: After breakfast in the riad, you will enjoy a the sites with historical and cultural interest, including the Koutoubia Menaret; the Saadian tombs; the beautiful Palace of Bahia and the Ben Youssef Coranic School. Finally, end the morning by walking through the medina alleys -getting a chance to admire all of the different artisans performing their crafts before arriving at the famous Jamaa El Fna Square. Lunch at a restaurant near the square, and then in the afternoon visit the gardens at Majorelle, and have a short tour at Gueliz -the new city of Marrakech. After dinner you will have the option to walk through the square entertained by magicians, story-tellers, tooth-pullers and food sellers. Overnight accommodation in your riad.

day 4 : Marrakech - Essaouira - Marrakech

After breakfat we Leave Marrakech at 08:00, ready for a 3-hour journey to the beautiful Essaouira on the Atlantic Coast. Once you arrive at the port city, formerly known as Mogador, you will have time to enjoy the charming sights of Essaouira, including its ocher-colored walls, the beautiful Moulay El Hassan square, and the souks, as well as the little streets of the city’s old Medina. Enjoy a lunch of fresh fish in a local restaurant. During your trip, visit an association of Berber women producing argan oil, see the local markets, and marvel at the gems in the jeweler’s quarter. You will return to Marrakech at the end of the afternoon, arriving back to the “Red City” at around 19:00. Night in riad or hotel.

Day 5 : Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

After breakfast in your riad we will set off for the Dades valley. Passing through Tizi-n-Tishka pass in the High Atlas Mountains we will visit the UNESCO World heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou which has been the backdrop for many films including Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator and Alexander. After lunch we’ll enjoy the beautiful natural landscapes and historical monuments of Taourirt Kasbah in Ourzazate and the Roses valley, famous for its annual Festival of Roses. We’ll also pass through the Berber villages of El Kelaa des M’Gouna to arrive to Dades valley where we will spend the night in a traditional Moroccan hotel with dinner and breakfast.

Day 6 : Dades Valley – Todra Gorges - Merzouga :

Today’s target point is arriving to Merzouga which is known for the highest sand dunes in North Africa . It is called Erg Chebbi Sahara desert and it is about 32 km long and 9 km wide . On our way, we will have the chance to see many oases such as the oasis of Tinjdad. We will continue our tour passing through the little Berber towns of Mellab and Touroug where we can stop for lunch in a traditional Moroccan restaurant . After this break, we will continue our way enjoying the green oasis of palm trees of Tafilalet and the black Hamada before arriving to Merzouga, where you will be accommodated in a traditional Moroccan riad as well as having a local dinner .

Day 7 : Merzouga Tour - Camel Trekking

After breakfast in the riad you’ll start your explorative journey of the area, starting by visiting the ‘village of the blacks’, originally slaves from Sudan, Mali and Senegal to experience their music and lifestyle. Later , we will drive in the desert area to meet nomad families-living under Berber tents- to explore their way of life . Today our lunch will be a traditional Berber meal (Berber pizza) with a local family. You will have the option also to visit the old city of Rissani – the foundation of the Alaouite dynasty – the current ruling royal family in Morocco. Rissani is surrounded by about 360 ksar (a fortified village with many towers) and has a big souk (an open market), held three times a week. Once called Sijilmassa, this was the meeting place for the salt caravans, coming from Tombouctou in Mali. Here you’ll walk through the souk, selling spices, vegetables and cloths . After that we Drive back to the village of Merzouga. In the afternoon, you will ride your camel, guided by an experienced camel-man to explore what is hidden in the middle of the highest sand dunes in morocco. The camel trek takes about 1hr 30 min to the camp where you will enjoy the sunset and watching stars . Dinner will be served in front of the tent where you will spend the night.

DAY 8: Merzouga – ziz valley - Midelt

you should set your Alarm to wake up and go to see the sunrise after that back to the Camps for a breakfast in the desert in the Heart of Sahara desert and return by camel to meet your 4×4 vehicle by Tours Marruecos. After our night under the desert stars Today your Morocco holiday takes you north. Following the path of the Ziz River through the town of Erfoud to the beautiful Ziz Gorge with its vast date palm groves you farewell the Morocco Sahara Desert as Tours Marruecos takes across the eastern High Atlas Mountains on your way to Midelt. DAY 9: Midelt – Middle Atlas Mountains – Meknes – Volubilis – Fez

This morning your Morocco holiday itinerary takes you across the Middle Atlas Mountains where, if fortune is on your side, you may spot the indigenous Barbary Macaque. Continuing on your Morocco travel adventure next takes you to the UNESCO world heritage 17th century imperial city of Meknes. Discover the sights, including Bab el Mansour, Heri es-Souani and Agdal Basin. Visit the ancient Roman town of Volubilis, Morocco’s most important Roman site and a UNESCO world heritage site with its mosaics and ancient buildings. DAY 10 : Fes sightseeing culture Tour

The guide will walk you through old medina and the maze of souks and sights visiting some of the highlights including the famous Fes pottery sous, the musical instrument makers, metalworkers, carpet souks and the Tanneries Chaowara There are over 9000 cobbled medieval streets weaving their way through markets, mosques, Koranic schools, riads and hidden fountains. Worth visiting are the Zaouia Moulay Idriss or shrine, Bad Boujloud ornamental gate, Al-Kairaouine Mosque and University – the oldest university in the world, Al-attarin Medrasa, Nejjarine fountain, King’s place and the Jewish quarter or ‘Mellah’. DAY 11 : Fez – Chefchaouen

DAY 12: Free Day in Chefchaouen

Chefchaouen , the largest town in Morocco’s Rif region , is an excellent place to get away from the hubbub of Morocco’s imperial cities and enjoy an unhurried day or two. Located in northern Morocco, the town is referred to simply as “Chaouen” by the locals and is known for its picturesque medina, access to the mountains and an abundance of kif. These factors have made Chefchaouen a popular stop on the backpacker itinerary, but all types of tourists come to the town to explore its architecture, learn about Berber culture and take pleasure in its natural setting.

Day 13: Chefchaouen – Tangier – Tetouan – Asilah

Today your Morocco travel itinerary’s first destination is lovely whitewashed Tetouan with its UNESCO world heritage medina and then onto the historic port town of Tangier on the Mediterranean coast. Tour of Tangier ’s principal sights then travel way west along the Mediterranean coast toward the Atlantic coast and onto the charming Atlantic beachside town of Asilah home of the annual Asilah Arts Festival. Overnight in Asilah riad. (Breakfast)

Day 14: Asilah – Rabat - Casablanca
